Are you a beginner photographer and want to improve your skills?
Here is the opportunity to join Didier Riva for a 90mins ish PhotoStroll around the Free Fringe Festival. The Photostroll group will find interesting subjects to photograph. Didier will give you simple but effective technical tips on speed, aperture, guidelines to improve your composition and develop your sense of observation.
Small group of 10 people maximum (First come first serve)
Bring your SLR camera or phone with fully charges batteries
Saturday 21st at 2pm sharp
Sunday 22nd at 2pm sharp
Meeting point: Outside the Saloon
Didier started photography in Paris in the 80', taking portraits for students at the Actor' Studio, which led to work for the cinema, theatre and music scene (rock, jazz, flamenco) , Didier worked with the Mime Artist Marcel Marceau on his show: le Manteau, for a year.
In 1998 Didier moved to Ireland where he joined the Mullingar camera club and became Licentiate of the Irish Photographic Federation. His work includes reportages for festivals, family events, portraits,product, interior, fine art and anything that inspires him.
Since living in Co.Leitrim his personal work is on Nature and photography for local events. Didier participates in collective and solo exhibitions, runs Nature PhotoWalks and workshops. He is currently working on a series of portraits of creative people.
